We spend a lot of time glued to screens. Whether TV, computer, or phone, we are obsessed with the little glowing rectangles and squares. In this post, I've included a list of warning signs that an individual may spend too much time in front of a computer.
- You click the mouse so much, it occasionally becomes an involuntary movement.
- Your neck is sore from bending your head over a laptop.
- You can't understand those people who don't own or like computers.
- You lead a more exciting life on a chat board or virtual world than you do in reality.
- At least eighty percent of your day is spent typing or moving a mouse.
- You have become a connoisseur of good computer mice, and have a specific preference between mechanical, optical, and laser mice.
- Your chatting skills are better than your conversational skills.
- When you can't find the right formatting button while doing something online, you switch to Nerd Mode and manually type in the HTML tags.
- A common nightmare of yours is when you dream your computer dies or gets a bad malware infection.
- While on the computer, someone asks if you tried the cupcake they gave you, and you say distractedly, "No, I haven't clicked on it yet."
- When it becomes necessary to spend hours creating a simple GIF.
- When you waste time creating memes on Photoshop or Microsoft Paint.
