Signs You've Been Playing Too Much Sims

There are thousands upon thousands of great games out there. Among those are the Sims games. I mean, there's so many things you can do in these games. Of course, sometimes we find ourselves playing Sims so much that we begin to live and breathe Sims. It consumes our thoughts, until the day we stumble out of bed one morning, poke the shower, and wonder why it's taking so long for the pie menu to pop up. Anyway, here are some signs that you may be playing too much Sims.

  1. You start thinking of your current state in terms of need bars and moodlets. I have the 'out of sorts' moodlet today. My social bar is low.
  2. You envision a negative relationship icon when someone annoys you.
  3. You wish you could use money cheats like 'familyfunds' or 'motherlode' in real life.
  4. While saving your game, you hit the '3' or '4' key in an attempt to speed up the process.
  5. You almost try to continue a paused video on YouTube with the '1' key.
  6. You feel like plaintively crying out "Shoo flee?" when you need something.
  7. You see this on social media, and for a moment you think, "What's an image of The Sims doing here?"

  8. You see a house and think, "I should make that in Sims." Or you see an interesting piece of furniture, and you wish you had something like that in Sims.
  9. You know exactly what your sim is gonna say before they say it. "Yeah, I know. Beebee lei. I'll feed you in a minute."
  10. You try to scroll on a webpage by moving the mouse to the edge of the screen.
  11. You often have salsa music from Sims 2 stuck in your head.
